Hello there, well I hope you are all enjoying your Sunday? the weekends go far to fast for my liking, well today I'm sharing this card that I made last week, using some very beautiful sentiment stamps that I won in giveaway earlier in the year at The Card Grotto and I've only just got round to using these stamps...can you believe? This card is to say a very special Thank You the very talented designer who is Michelle Short. Michelle is such kind and caring designer who really does go out of her away to help you, I've called on her expertise on numerous occasions and she is always helpful and such good friend too. Thank you for organising this giveaway Michelle!! I've still got the other set of stamps you sent me to use yet, so I'm hoping to get creating with those very soon.
Created a stitched panel using the silhouette cameo and cut out using white card, then using my DIY stamping tool I stamped the three Altenew rose silhouettes using memento tuxedo black ink, then using the radiant neon warm colours ink set, inked the shadow with Electric Pink ink and stamped over the rose silhouette. Next stamped three Altenew silhouette leaves with the same versafine tuxedo black ink and then stamped the shadow leaf with versa color split pea ink.
Now I stamped Thank you for your kindness from Hero Arts set, using memento tuxedo black ink. Cut a piece of fun foam down to fit the panel and adhere this to the panel using double sided tape and adhered the panel to the A2 (US size) card blank with double sided tape. Added a few clear sequins using micro glue dots to adhere them.
I made two of these cards, I don't usually do bulk cardmaking, but I got into the flow of making this card and just needed to make another one, so I inked the second one with Coral ink instead for something that bit different
I love to say thank you and make thank you cards for those special people that have help you with their kindness. It's doesn't cost anything to say thank you and it means so much to the recipient, to tell them you appreciate the things they have done. Do you enjoy making and sending thank you cards?
