Enchanted fairies of little venice

Hello there, hope you are enjoy your weekend? Well I have been busy crafting this afternoon and thought you would like to see my latest make.

First I embossed a strip of green card using perfect medium and Debbi Moore silver embossing powder and heated it with a heat gun, then cut piece of portofino card to fit the card as layer and stamped this lovely fairy from Enchanted fairies of little venice.

Coloured the image with Faber castell 24 colour grip watercolour pencils and kuretake water pen then struck it to the card blank using double sided tape, Stamped the birthday wishes in bottom left hand corner.  Added three sequins near the verse to finish.

Card size is 12cm x 20.3cm and folded to the left hand side

Finally I added some light blue watercolour pencil and using my kuretake water pen blend the colour out to give glow effect.

I always leave you details of where you can purchase the same items I've used, all you have to do is look at the box below and click on the highlighted link to go straight there.

Cars for the boys

Hello there, Hope you are having relaxing weekend? Well I have not posted for while as I had some technical problems and within that I have been a little stressed out and sure enough my anxiety as come back with vengeance, so thats why I have been slightly quiet but I'm hoping to get back to normal now on.

I thought you might like to see this card I created especially for boy who is almost teenager but not quite there yet, that awkward age I suppose? Men's and boys cards can be difficult to get right but luckily I have the perfect CD rom that was purchased some years ago, but it came in handy for sure.

The CD rom in question is the My Craft Studio CD rom called Men-y happy returns and was available through their papercraft library. I'm so glad that it's in my crafty stash as its helped me so much over the years.

Totally loving Polkadoodles..

Hello there, Well I hope your enjoying your Sunday? I have got the tennis on in the background whilst I am blogging..so any spelling mistakes you know why..lol.

I thought you would like to see my latest creation that I managed to complete a few days ago, I love using CD ROM s as they are so versatile and you always have them to hand when you need them. Their very inexpensive too, which of course I love as budgets do get stretch a lot these days.

I do have many CD ROM s covering many brands but was recently having tidying up and found one of my favourites which is the Polkadoodles Sundae of Seasons, having had this for many years now and I do always keep going back to this as I love the designs and the fabulous digi stamps.

You have the option to print out as black and white digi stamp or have the image already coloured in my the wonderful Nikky Hall,

Nikky is the super talented owner and designer of Polkadoodles, her designs are so original, cool and fresh and will suit any type of style of card making you wish to create. Nikky she a real gem in the crafty world, not only is she amazingly talent designer but she is so generous in her time, she is regularly on social media helping with advice, what crafters would like next, ideas and general natter and of course, she is so encouraging to us all to show our work in the many of her Facebook groups that she as started. So if you're Facebook make sure you check all her groups out. Also her brand new website as digi's and sets you can download from as little as £1 and you can pay via Pay-pal, which is a win win for me.

As many of my followers will know I am loving CAS so much and its make a massive difference to my confident, I decided to use this super sweet image to make CAS card and so hope you like the end result.

I am loving the stitch detail of dies that you can purchase at the moment, but unfortunately I cant afford to get some just yet so I decided to create my own using the Silhouette Cameo software. I think it works out just as good and its saved me me a few pennies.
