Hello My Friend | MIC

Hello there, honestly I just can't believe August is nearly over with, this year is running away so quickly. Today I'm sharing this card that was made over the weekend, using a cutie patootie digi stamp image called Mariah from Make It Crafty  if you're not already aware of this company I highly recommend you pop over to their site and take a look. There is vast array of beautiful digi stamps design by the super talented Zoe.

Created stitched panel in the silhouette software and before I cut it out, added the digi stamp just to the right of the panel and scaled it down slightly to fit completely inside the stitched panel and use the print and cut function and then cut out on the silhouette.

Coloured in using colouring pencils then rubbed a little cornflour over the bottom half of the panel and stamped hello my friend from W&W stamp set using DIY stamping tool and perfect medium, poured over wow gold embossing powder and heat set.

Applied double sided foam tape to the back of the panel and adhere to the A2 (US) size card blank, to finish I added a few sequins and adhered them micro glue dots.

I thought this would make the perfect just because card, or good to send to that special friend you're not seen in while.

Happy Birthday | MFT

Hello there, well here in the UK it's a warm day again and I really shouldn't complain about the weather but I'm definitely not a summer person as I don't cope well with the warm weather. Well today I'm sharing a card that I'd created last weekend and can you believe I even recorded making this on my camcorder but when I came to edit, the free software I had on my computer wasn't the full version so I couldn't speed up the colouring, so it looks like I will have to save up and invest in the paid version.

Created stitched panel using the silhouette cameo but this time I created three cut out windows in the  center of the panel and added an offset stitch around the three windows. On A2 (US) size card blank  I laid the panel on the top and draw faint line around each of the squares with pencil. Remove the  panel from  the card, then using sticky notes I mask off the first square and stamped the cow image  using clear  acrylic block and versafine onyx black ink and continued with the same process for the  horse and of  course the adorable little pig. Once finished rubbed out the pencil lines with a soft  eraser.

Coloured the images in using my WHSmith artist quality colouring pencils. Stamped Happy Birthday from the whole herd just underneath the three cutout windows, using versafine onyx black ink and acrylic block. Adhere the panel to the A2 card blank with double sided foam tape. Added a few clear enamel dots to finish.

I don't usually decorate the inside of the card, but thought it would good to continue the animal theme on the inside of the card. Again I coloured images using the same coloured pencils.

I know the perfect little boy who will love this card for his up and coming Birthday, I think most children love farm yard animals.
