Thank You | Lawn Fawn

Hello there, well today I'm sharing with you a card that was made over the weekend, yes it's a another thank you card...but it seems that I am sending out so many of these thank you cards out at the moment that I need to make more.

Started with stitched panel created in the silhouette software and cut on the silhouette, Then using my DIY stamping tool I stamped the first flower from Lawn Fawn Flutter by set using versafine onyx black ink, then masked the first flower with a piece of sticky note that I then cut out to create mask to stamp the second flower and the same for the third flower. Using Uni 0.1 fineliner to fill in any gaps from the stamping. Coloured in the images using colouring pencils .

Again using my DIY stamping tool stamped thank you from Clearly Besotted Mini Message set using versafine onyx black ink just below the flowers. Applied double sided foam tape to the back of the panel and adhere to the A2 US size card which I made. Adhered three clear iridescent sequins using micro glue dots and I decide to add three self adhesive gems to the sequins to finish.

Well as you can see I managed to replace my camera towards the end of last week, if you follow me on social media you may of heard about my camera saga, but for those who did not I'll cut a long story short. My previous camera was only 16 months old and it just broke down one day and the stockist from which I purchased it from wouldn't do anything about repairing it, but anyway I have brand new one now so hopefully you will be notice the difference.

Do you like to send thank you cards? I like to send thank you cards and do so regularly, not just for the big things in life but for all the small things people do.

Monster Hugs 2 | Lawn Fawn

Hello there, well that weekend went so quick, the weeks are passing by so quickly at the moment aren't they? Well I decided to create a card for little boy I know who turns three in August, I thought these cute monsters will suit him to the tee..

Cut down a piece of Neenah card slightly smaller than the card blank to create a panel, then I stamped the monster with wings first using versafine onyx black ink and my homemade stamping tool, created a mask by stamping the same image onto a piece of sticky note and cut this out with scissors and stamped the other images around the first image, creating a mask for each monster. Stamped the sentiment below from the Lawn Fawn Monster Mash using the same onyx black ink.

Coloured in the images with WHSmith artist quality watercolour pencils, adding a little clear wink of stella to each image when finish colouring. Cut a piece of fun foam to fit the panel, adhere this to the back of panel with double tape, adhere a piece of the cordinations card to the A2 (US size) card blank with double sided tape. Then adhere the panel to the card with double sided tape. Finished off with white tonic nuvo drops.

Well I so hope the little boy loves this card as I've loved creating it especially for him. Enjoy the rest of day wherever you are in the world.

Lawn Fawn | Monster Mash

Hello all, it's very cold here so i've been spending some time crafting, most certainly the best place to be when the weather is quite chilly. I purchased these fab little Lawn Fawn monsters a few months back and i've only just got round to using them. These monsters are so adorable, not scary at all!!

Firstly cut piece of A4 card down to 29.5 x 9 cm and fold to the left using bone folder, so you have landscape card. Cut a piece of red card to fit the top of the landscape card, emboss the red card with the chevrons embossing folder and ran it through the Cuttlebug. Adhere the embossed card to the card black using double sided tape.

Stamped four little monsters using acrylic block and memento tuxedo ink on neenah solar white card, making sure there is a slight gap in between the monsters. Coloured in using WH Smith Soft Colouring Pencils making sure I correctly added the right amount of shading as well. Stamped "Sending you monsters hugs" with the same memento ink pad, In the middle just below the monsters. Using the metal ruler and craft knife I cut straight line across both sides, but be sure not to cut into the monsters as they were fussy cut around with scissors. Cut the piece of card down to fit perfectly to the bottom of the card.

Adhered the stamped image with double sided foam tape, added some sparkle to the monsters with some clear wink of glitter. Added some adhesive dots to finish.
