A card for little boy

Hello there, hope you are having a lovely weekend? well I been busy crafting away today and using the fabulous Silhouette Cameo (yippee) I have made this card in advance for a friend's grandson who's birthday is in August...I know its early but I just like to be organised and have a card made well in advance. So I thought I would share with you today my latest make and mention how I made it as well.

First I went into the Silhouette cameo software and type in the name Spencer and I chose a font I really like using at the moment Freehand521BJ, Then I zoom in so I could see the the word clearly and move the letters using the arrow buttons on my computer to I could join them together, after I selected weld and the word is finish and ready to cut. I cut this at about 3 inch width and height just over 1 inch.

I round the corners of the card blank (29.6 cm x 10 cm and folded on the left) background card and the Neenah card. Stamped the image with memento black ink.

After I have coloured in the image with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers -
I used double sided tape to stick background card (dots) then I used double sided foam tape to stick the image card to the front.

These are the colours I used by Spectrum Noir -

Black and Gold

Hello there, well its a bank holiday here in the UK, so I decided to spend some time on my crafting and what lovely way to spend a bank holiday. For a few months now I have not used my beloved Silhouette Cameo... I know its shocking, but I have been doing few crafty things. Well I thought I would get myself using the my fabulous Cameo again... I love my cameo and must admit I have missed using it.

So on went the radio and I got into my zen crafty bubble.. This is what I have created today especially for a couple we know, who are coming up to their first wedding anniversary.

I wanted to use the Clean and Simple (CAS) again, as the couple are young couple and are moving very soon, So I thought this would be just perfect for them both.

Black and gold goes so well together, plus the black on black gives you some luxury and still looks Clean and Simple (CAS)

Besotted with Clearly Besotted

Hello there, I hope you are all well and you're having lovely day? Well some of my regular followers may have notice that I've not been bring you many posts lately.

Well with one thing and other and to cut along story straight I have been a little under the weather and did lose a bit of my crafty mojo. When your not feeling yourself this happens doesn't it?

Yesterday I managed to get some decent quality crafty time in and decided where better to start, to use my lovely Clearly besotted stamps...I am totally and utterly besotted with this amazing stamp company. Stephanie Wincott and her sister Jenny run this small family business in UK and they create these amazingly beautiful stamps, all their stamps are high quality clear photopolymer stamps and would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Clean and Simple is something I have really fell for over recent months and yes clean and simple sounds quite easy..I know!! but it can take a little bit of practice to get it just right. Well I've totally enjoyed every minute of this creation and enjoyed the stamping too. It as brought back my crafty mojo back and hope I will be bringing you lots more ideas very soon.
