Besties are the best

I came across these cute Sherri Baldy digistamps over at Creata with Carley Facebook group and just fell in love with these rather cute figures and you can purchase and download them at Esty, which I think is such great idea and makes life so much easier as you cant always pop to the stores for new clear stamps so being able to download digistamps is such fabulous idea.

Good news

When I received the news from the very lovely Carley Duff who's the Creata presenter on Create and craft shopping channel (http://carleyduffcreations.blogspot.co.uk) said I was on the Carley's Silhouette Cameo design team, I was so excited and over the moon and couldn't stop thinking about what I would design for the design team samples. Carley is such a inspiration with her fabulous style of card making that's a bit different from the norm I feel and is real breath of fresh air.  I would like to say massive thank you to Carley Duff for giving me the chance to be on her Silhouette Cameo design team.

Hope the samples inspired other Silhouette Cameo Crafters to make some lovely cards with this fabulous machine, I will let people know when the shows are due to be on when I hear and post it here.

You're so sweet

I wanted to make a baby card with a bit of a twist from normal baby pink and baby blue and thought these colours make me smile as it seems so bright and fresh which any new parents will really love. I also wanted a card that was unisex for neither gender as these days new parents wait until the baby is born to find out the gender so this card is handy for those times.

I decided to use coloured pencils for this card as its a bit of change than using alcohol marker pens, I do love alcohol markers pens but  I really love the effect of lightest of pencils and its capture the innocent of the toread too, also proves you can get the right shading with colouring pencils and not just alcohol markers.

Over at Crafters Companion challenge blog this month's challenge is the theme of "Baby" hence this card was born and the challenge inspired me to come up with something different and will be entering this as my entry to this month's challenge.

Handmade baby gifts

I believe that its always better to make a handmade gift instead of going to the shops and spending your money on something that could be purchase by everyone. Handmade makes a gift that bit special and of course you can personalised it to suit the person your going to be sending it too.

Also this idea is great for when the monthly budget is taking a hit, and something like this can be creative for next to nothing and not only is this gift its something that can be treasured for many years to come.
