Watercolouring | Giveaway

This giveaway as now ended

Hello there, I'm back to day with a card I've only just made this afternoon and decided that I would make into Thank You card and I've been looking through my craft stash and found some unused Clearly Besotted stamps, so what a better way of sharing my work with you guys than to have a giveaway and more about the giveaway will be nearer the end of this post.

Made A2 US size card using Crelando yellow card, created a panel within silhouette software and added two diagonal stitched lines on the right side of the panel. Stamped the image from Daisy and Dandelion clear stamp set using my DIY stamping tool and versafine onyx black ink, I coloured in the image using watercolour pencils and added water using my zig water pen. (I always watercolour on a piece of hardboard and attach low tack masking tape to the edges of the panel) I always give it a quick zap with my heat tool to dry the watercolouring.

Stamped Thank You from the Altenew stamp set from Simply Cards and Papercraft magazine, adhered double sided foam tape to the back of the panel and attached to the card blank. To finish I added a few clear enamel dots I made from Anita's 3D glue gel on piece of craft mat and left to dry and adhere the finish dots with zig fine glue pen.

To be in with a chance of winning this finished card and the set of Clearly besotted stamps, all you have to do is to leave a comment below. You have up to Wednesday 28th September 2016 10am BST to enter, this is open internationally too. The giveaway will be random using random.org. Go on give it ago, you never know it could be you.  The winner will be announced soon after this date.

I'm still having problems with my camera and lighting, so I'm sorry about the photos, just hoping I can fix this problem very soon.

Simon Says Stamp Challenge | Movie & Clean and Simple

Hello there, as the title suggests I've been creating a card this week for the challenges at Simon says stamp, which Monday's challenge is At the Movie's and Wednesday's is CAS. So I thought about my favourite film that's been my favourite since I was little, you might of already guess it...yes it was set in New York!! Well if you haven't already guessed it's Home Alone 2 Lost in New York. When this is on TV it makes me think of Christmas and get all warm and cosy. If you're not seen this movie yet, I'd highly recommend  you watch it.

Made A2 US size card from black card, opened the silhouette software and created stitched rectangle then created a internal offset rectangle to create frame and added an element I purchase from silhouette store called New York Skyline by Studio Calico into the middle of the frame and once I released compound path, I welded them together then cut it out the silhouette.

Next I rubbed a little cornflour over the panel to remove any static, using my DIY stamping tool I stamped "A Little Note" from Clearly Besotted Mini Messages with perfect medium and poured over WOW bright white embossing powder and heat set with heat tool. Cut a piece of Crelando sky blue card to fit slightly smaller than the panel itself and adhered to the card with double sided tape. Applied double sided foam tape to the back of the panel and adhere to the card, finished off with a few sequins and I adhere them using micro glue dots.

I always fancied visiting New York since I was child, as I can imagine it's like walking onto a real working film set. Flying is not my thing at all as I have serious fear of flying! I went to Florida many years ago that flight was traumatic enough to have put me right off flying. Sorry if the photos don't look as good as they usually do, but I'm having a few problems with the lighting and my camera at moment even with using my Ikea lamp the photos are coming out with pink tint for some reason, so I will have to look into that for next time, I suppose all the sunshine we had does'nt help.

Halloween | Silhouette Cameo

Hello there, well I don't tend to make Halloween cards usually but decided it might be fun having a go at creating some spooky Halloween cards, I must of enjoyed making them as I finished up making three batch cards. These will be perfect for three little ones I know that for sure.

Created stitched panel within silhouette software, then created a smaller rectangle within the panel and then created offset so I could add the "Happy" sentiment using Megan Font that was purchased from silhouette store, I designed the cobweb by creating three offset circles and four long rectangle strips and welded them all together to create the cutting file.

Cut out the three panels, created three A2 US card blanks that I made myself from Lidl Crealando card. Applied double sided foam tape to the back of the panel and adhered to the card blank, in the end I created two orange and one purple design.

Cut out strips of card for the "Halloween" sentiments and rubbed a little cornflour over the cardstock and stamped the Halloween from Clearly Besotted Mini Messages using versafine onyx black and my DIY stamp tool then poured over wow clear embossing powder and heat set with heat tool. Before cutting into the tag to create a fishtail and adhered the tag just above the happy with double sided foam tape. To finish added couple Tonic Nuvo drops and sequin which I adhered with Micro glue dots.

Well I think they have turned out well and I am so glad that I gave halloween ago and hope you think the same. Enjoy the rest of your day.
