Colour challenge

Hello there, I do love a crafty challenge as you may already know!!, so when I found out that Make The Day Special challenge was colour theme this month, I just had to have go and come up with something special for this wonderful challenge.

I love all these colour theme's but the middle one I just adored, so this what I created.

Started with portofino A6 card blank folded at the top, cut a strip yellow gold dots and dashes 12 x 12 from The Works and adhere this with double side tape to right hand side of the card. Next I cut piece of grey A4 card down to fit the A6 and cut narrow strip of black A4 card and adhere this to the back of the grey card with double sided tape.

Opened the Silhouette software and search for tag and cut out on Silhouette cameo machine and embossed the top half with embossalicious chevron embossing folder using my cuttlebug. Stamped birthday to middle of the tag then pour over gold embossing powder and heat set with heat tool. Tie small length of wax black cord to the tag and adhere the tag to card with double sided tape.

Stamped the Happy from The big, the bold and the happy stamps from Winnie and walter with perfect medium and pour over gold embossing powder and heat set with heat gun. Then fussy cut around the word happy and adhere to the middle of the tag with pinflair glue gel.

Added selection of black and silver sequins to finish and add dimension to this special card.
