Paper Smooches | Sugar Rush

Hello there, do you ever have that need to craft when your super busy or you have such a hectic day, but you still have that "need" to craft. Well that was me over the weekend and just needed to be creative, so decided to do quick card and calm myself with some zen colouring in.

Started with square 4.5 x 4.5 inch card blank from Crelando green card that was cut down to size. Created a square stitched panel within the Silhouette Software slightly smaller than the card blank, then using the rounded rectangle and circle tool and welded them together and reduced the size to fit the card panel and created what looks like a retail hook, that what you seen in the stores for hanging products up. I had this idea to use this within my crafting and I think it's worked quite well. Placed sheet of white card on cricut mat and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.

Stamped the iced muffin or (bun) from Paper Smooches Sugar rush stamp set first using my diy stamp tool and versa fine onyx black ink then repeat stamped on to a sticky note and cut out the image to create a mask. Then stamped the doughnut and drink on neither side of the muffin. Next stamped the sentiment from the same Paper smooches set just below the image I've already stamped and wanted it to look like the sugary items are sat on top of the sentiment. Slightly under stamped the image so I used my trusty black liner to make the muffin sit correctly. Coloured in the image with colouring pencils.

Applied double sided foam tape to the back of the panel and adhered to the card blank. Added a few silver metallic sequins using micro glue dots to adhere them to the card.

Interested in the products used, I've prepared a list below for your convenience. Click on the wording or images to be taken to the stores used. No affiliated links are used.

I thoroughly enjoyed some quick crafting at the weekend and it filled that need to craft. The only thing was stamping the sweet things on the card made me hungry. I do have a sweet tooth, so anything can set me off. Do you enjoy speed crafting and eating sweet things too?

This will be entered into the following challenges

This is summary of the project below showing you all the views of the card, I'd love you to pin this over at Pinterest if you like it.
