Lawn Fawn and Winnie and Walter

Hello there, I am back yet again to share with you my latest make with you. As you already know from my previous post, recently purchased some lovely Lawn Fawn and Winnie and Walter stamps from Make the day special. Finally had some time to have play with fabulous stamps and this is what i've made. The only thing is I am now totally addicted and will need more in future, oh deary me..that as started something. Well a girl as to treat herself, that's my excuse and i'm sticking to it.

Firstly created card blank from Portofino A4 Card, measuring 29.6 cm x 10.2cm folded at the top with bone folder. Cut Rossler Purple 92 card to 9.5 cm x 14.2 and dry embossed the top half using Cuttlebug embossing folder and ran it through the cuttlebug machine. Using double sided foam tape I mount it onto the card blank on the de-embossed side.

Then I used one of the beautiful flowers in Lawn Fawn flutter by set, applied perfect medium to the clear stamp and stamped three flowers and the wording Happy Birthday on the same Rossler card. Added Heat it up seafoam white embossing powder over the them and apply heat with heat gun.
I fussy cut the flowers right to the very edge and using my guillotine cut the sentiment Happy Birthday to fit. Attached the three flowers in a row, just covering the embossing joining with pinflair glue gel.  To finish off I used white pearl adhesive gems and colored them to suit the theme with spectrum noir HB2. Then applied the gems, one slightly underneath sentiment and the other two on either side.

I am going to be making a few changes to my blog over the next weeks and months, improving things for you and to make things better on the eye too. Also I am pulling my socks up and trying to improve my skills and push myself forward. Crafting is getting bigger and better so I need to make sure I'm up to date with the latest techniques.
